Why can't I find what I am looking for in my area, even when I know it's there?

For this example, let's say you search for "burger" in Timbuktu and get 0 results, but you know for sure that Timbuktu definitely has places where you can get burgers. Here is what could have happened:

• BeerMagnet.com may have no record of any Hot Spots in Timubuktu (BeerMagnet.com cannot report that which it does not know).
• Maybe all of the places that have burgers only have Standard (not Gold) profiles. Standard profiles would only be found if the word "burger" is found in the name of the Hot Spot.
• Maybe the Gold profile Hot Spots did not list "burger" (or "burgers") anywhere in their descriptions. Once again, BeerMagnet.com can only report that which it knows, or more appropriately, what the Hot Spot administrators enter into their profiles.
